Any player who wishes to be placed on a team for the 2012-2013 hockey season is required to attend his/her tryout session and complete the registration process.  Please read and review the ONLINE REGISTRATION, REGISTRATION FEE & TUITION POLICY and TRYOUT INFORMATION outlined below.
 

 
Tryout registration for the 2012-2013 season will OPEN on February 16, 2012 and CLOSE on March 3, 2012.  *Register on time to avoid the $50 late fee.
 
Please go to www.norwoodnuggets.org to register online and pay the tryout fee by Saturday March 3, 2012.
 

• Squirt, PW, Bantam tryout (skaters & goalies)D
  Tryout fee is $300 when paying online (VISA, MC, or AMEX).
  Tryout fee is $350 when paying by check.
   
• Mite evaluation/tryout
  Tryout fee is $200 when paying online (VISA, MC, or AMEX).
  Tryout fee is $250 when paying by check.
   
• Instructional evaluation/tryout
  Tryout fee is $200 when paying online (VISA, MC, or AMEX).
  Tryout fee is $250 when paying by check.

*Any player currently in the program that registers AFTER March 3, 2012 will be assessed a $50 late fee.

Please note that the $300 (Squirt, PW, Bantam, Girls) tryout fee & the $200 (Mite, Instructional) tryout fee will be applied toward your 2012-2013 tuition. Tuition for the 2012-2013 season will be finalized and announced by February 22, 2012.
 
 

 
Registration fee and all past due tuition must be paid in full in order to tryout.  The registration fee in non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred to another season.  If your player registers for the 2012-2013 season and participates in tryouts, it is expected that they will be playing for the Norwood Nuggets next season.  Any player who tries out, and then decides not to play, will not be eligible for a refund, transfer or deferment of the 2012-2013 registration fees.
 
Failure of a player to attend tryouts complicates and impedes proper evaluation of all players as well as the programs ability to determine the number of teams (and players per team) at each level. Any player that is unable to tryout due to injury, illness, etc. must contact Mark Hoover (VP)   and the appropriate Level Director to address their personal circumstance.
 
Players choosing not to tryout must pay their registration fee before they will be assigned to a team.  Players who register late and/or do not participate in tryouts will be placed on the lowest team at the applicable level if space is available.
2012-2013 Tuition must be paid in full by July 15^th, 2012. The Norwood Nuggets do offer payment plans. A payment plan must be established on or before your tryout date. All payment plans will be structured so that final payment is made by July 15^th, 2012. Payment plans are for tuition balances ONLY. Tryout fee is not eligible for a payment plan.

Arrive and CHECK IN at least 30 minutes prior to the tryout session.  Tryouts will start promptly at the scheduled time. 
 
At CHECK IN players will be assigned a group (blue or yellow) and a numbered tryout pullover. 
 
All bantam, pee wee & squirt tryouts will take place at Milton Academy.

Mite tryouts/evaluation will take place at Ulin Rink in Milton

MITE (2004-2005)                  Date: Sun., March 18^th            Time:   5:00-7:00 PM
 
Any UNREGISTERED player who comes to the tryout unannounced will need to pay the appropriate tryout fee plus the $50 late fee as well as any past due tuition BEFORE he/she will be allowed to participate in the tryout.
